Kalou vatu

These kalou vatu (sacred stones) stood near Cokova on Viti Levu and were named Lovekavekave. They were regarded as the abode of a goddess, and food offerings were prepared and left at the stones for her. They were made of rounded, black limestone, tilted at a slight angle and having a liku (a woven skirt worn by women) tied around the middle.
