The Nakorosule-USP bilibili was built on the Wainimala River, three kilometres upstream of Nakorosule village in Naitasiri. Rafts of this type are used for transporting farm produce from the most inland parts of Viti Levu, where there is no road access to the coastal markets. Today, river transport of this kind is still very much the major transportation link for remote river villages in the interior.
