This piece represents the ‘young lady’. This unique piece consists of a halter neck top and a below the knee skirt made from a piece of Tongan ngatu (Tongan masi). Both pieces are inset with shells. The top is ornamented with a civi shell (pearl shell) at the front, whereas the skirt is decorated with magimagi (coconut husk string) sewn on both sides. Designed and made by Adi Vuya Raratabu.
