Dance hat

This is a contemporary Rotuman dance hat was made using feathers and wool, traditionally pandanus would have been used instead of the wool. This type of hat is only used in a dance called the koloa'ta, a male only dance from Fag uta (Juju/Popjei) and performed by men also using war clubs.
