Wishart-Ryan Shell Collection

The shells displayed here are part of siblings, Mrs Sabrina Wishart and Mr Frank Ryan’s collection of shells.

The shells are part of a loose and undocumented collection that belonged to Mrs Evelyn Barker, their grandmother and also to their mother Mrs Molly Ryan Gell, who continued collecting and documenting shells. Some of these shells are not from Fijian waters, but from various places, including Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
